Lead Drug RVX-208

RVX-208 is Resverlogix's lead clinical drug candidate. It is a novel small molecule therapeutic that facilitates endogenous ApoA-I production for the treatment of atherosclerosis. To the Company’s knowledge, RVX-208 is the only novel small molecule that is specifically designed to increase ApoA-I production and thereby raise HDL levels thus enhancing HDL functionality to augment reverse cholesterol transport.

There still remains a large critical unmet need in cardiovascular disease. ApoA-l production technologies represent the next class of drugs which could revolutionize the way atherosclerosis, the main underlying cause of cardiovascular and vascular diseases are treated in the future.

Resverlogix has successfully completed the ASSERT Phase 2 Clinical Trial.  RVX-208 is currently in two Phase 2b Clinical Trials ASSURE and SUSTAIN both led by the Cleveland Clinic.
