Overview

"I am most proud of the ground-breaking progress our company has made in developing our revolutionary ApoA-I technology. This will have a positive impact on the lives of patients with cardiovascular disease."

Building a World Class Pipeline

Resverlogix is a product-driven drug development company with multiple programs focused on the most grievous diseases.

NexVas™ Plaque Regression (NexVas PR) is a technology platform for the development of drugs that increase ApoA-I production to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.  Our lead drug RVX-208 has successfully completed a Phase 2 Clinical Trial ASSERT with the Cleveland Clinic.  RVX-208 is now in two Phase 2b Clinical Trials SUSTAIN and ASSURE also led by Cleveland Clinic. For more information, please visit the Clinical Trials section of this website.

Autoimmune Drug Development Program's objective is to discover and develop a new oral therapy for the treatment of autoimmune diseases by targeting two clinically validated cytokine mediators, IL-6 and IL-17. Using a prototype orally active compound, RVX-297, we have demonstrated significant activity in a widely accepted animal model of multiple sclerosis, murine experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), which is comparable to a recently approved oral therapy. In this model, the compound suppresses the activity of two T cell subsets, TH1 and TH17 that are known to drive the disease.

NexVas™ Alzheimer's Disease (NexVas AD) is focused on the synergies between heart and brain health. The research program focuses on the beneficial effects of ApoA-I production on cognition, memory and both plasma and cerebrospinal fluid biomarkers such as Amyloid Beta 40, 42, tau and P-tau. A proof-of-concept Phase 2 Clinical Trial in patients with mild cognitive impairment is currently in development.

ReVas™ is a research stage technology for the development of therapeutics to be used with medical devices for the treatment of cardiovascular disease.
